Serving as the Lead Brand Designer and Identity Specialist, my role required delivering a complete fleet graphics system, core typography, and an adaptable visual asset toolkit. The project required integrating several specific thematic elements requested by the stakeholder: the tricolor palette of the French flag, natural lavender, a traditional fleur-de-lis, agricultural grapes, and a classic coffee cup and saucer. A major constraint was designing for a large-scale, 3D physical surface with complex geometric panels, service windows, and high-visibility requirements from a distance, all while maintaining an elegant, premium aesthetic.

By employing structural design thinking and rigorous scale testing, I synthesized the complex array of imagery into a sophisticated and balanced identity system. I established a dynamic color hierarchy by using the blue, white, and red of the French flag as structural anchors, while integrating muted lavender tones and rich grape purples as accent colors to soften the overall palette. Applying the core design principles of hierarchy and balance, I positioned a stylized fleur-de-lis as the central brand crest, anchoring it above a clean vector icon of a steaming coffee cup and saucer to signify warmth and immediate hospitality. This thoughtful layout met all strategic expectations by successfully translating an intricate narrative into a memorable, instantly recognizable mobile landmark that captures high foot traffic. The resulting design delivered immense value to the business, ensuring the food truck projects an authentic, premium brand authority that stands out in any crowded environment.
The objective of this project was to design a comprehensive brand identity and exterior wrap for a premium French-themed culinary food truck. Operating in a highly competitive urban street-food market, the goal was to instantly communicate authentic European sophistication, artisanal quality, and comfort. The target audience encompassed bustling lunchtime professionals, weekend festival attendees, and European culture enthusiasts seeking a quick yet elevated culinary experience. The primary creative challenge lay in weaving multiple distinct iconographic elements into a clean, cohesive, and modern visual system without overcrowding the limited physical canvas of a mobile vehicle.

The design process initiated with deep visual research into contemporary Parisian bistro culture, French provincial agricultural motifs, and classical typography. During ideation, I constructed precise attribute lists to isolate how each complex icon could be simplified into a modern vector asset. Moving into concept development, I sketched dozens of thumbnail layouts to experiment with asset placement, testing how the coffee cup and grapes could balanced against architectural lines. Low-fidelity prototyping involved creating digital mockups mapping the artwork onto a 3D vehicle template to evaluate sightlines, readability, and scale. Finally, I established a strict peer feedback loop to iteratively strip away unnecessary linework, ensuring that the lavender and fleur-de-lis harmonized cleanly rather than competing for focal dominance
